- Overview
- Related Products
- Standard Model — cost-effective sun and rain cover with open airflow; best for mild climates.
- Semi-Enclosed — adds partial side panels to block crosswind and sideways rain; suited for seasonal weather.
- Fully Enclosed — wraps the area on all sides for year-round, all-weather use; ideal for commercial clubs in harsh climates.
- Wind resistance — the canopy is wind-tested up to 80 km/h (≈50 mph). For higher wind regions, share your local design wind speed and we review the layout per project.
- Snow load — snow-load capacity is confirmed per project. For snowy regions, share your local design snow load and we advise the suitable structure and any reinforcement needed.
- Waterproof \& UV-resistant — the PVDF-coated membrane sheds rain and blocks UV; B1 flame-retardant rating.
- Self-cleaning surface — the smooth fluorocarbon coating lets rainfall wash off dust, keeping maintenance low.
- Column-free span — the large-span frame keeps the area below open, with no internal columns blocking play or sightlines.
- Frame color and membrane color can be matched to your venue branding.
- Membrane logo printing for sponsor or club identity.
- Send us your artwork and we confirm color matching before production.
- Modular prefabrication — steel frame and membrane are produced and cut to size in the factory.
- On-site assembly — bolt-connected frame is erected on prepared foundations.
- Membrane tensioning — the PVDF membrane is stretched and anchored to the frame.
- Quality inspection — structure, tension and drainage are checked before handover.
- Delivery — packed for container shipping to your port.
- Annual inspection — check bolt tightness and membrane tension.
- Cleaning — rinse the membrane with low-pressure water; avoid harsh chemicals that damage the coating.
- Repair — small membrane damage can be patched with factory-provided kits.
Custom Steel Membrane Roof Canopy for Sports Courts & Outdoor Facilities (SSTD-032)
A Standalone Roof Structure — Not a Court, a Cover for Any Court
SSTD-032 is a modular steel-frame roof system with a PVDF tension membrane canopy. Built as a standalone structure, it covers padel, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, playgrounds and open outdoor areas — protecting play and spectators from sun and rain without enclosing the space.
What Is a Steel Membrane Roof Canopy?
A steel membrane roof canopy is a standalone roofing system: a hot-dip galvanized steel frame supports a tensioned PVDF-coated membrane that spans the area below without enclosing it. It is a structure you place over an existing court, pool or play area — not a court itself.
Why tension membrane: the fabric is lightweight yet high-strength, lets in soft diffused daylight, and covers large spans with minimal steel — so the area below stays bright and open, with no internal columns blocking play or sightlines.
SSTD-032 is engineered as a reusable, bolt-connected system. It ships in prefabricated sections and is assembled on site, so it can be relocated or expanded as your facility grows.
Where Can It Be Used?
One structure, many sites. SSTD-032 is sized for sports courts and scales to cover pools and play areas. (Outdoor dining is not recommended — this is a large-span industrial canopy, not a small patio shade.)
Standard 25m-width footprints fit regulation padel and tennis layouts; keeps play going through sun and rain.
Column-free span protects players and spectators; suitable for training centers and school facilities.
Shades the pool deck and reduces UV exposure for swimmers; custom sizes available for standard and leisure pools.
Creates shaded, weather-protected outdoor space for parks, schools and residential communities.
Three Roof Structure Options
Pick a structure to match your climate, local building rules and budget. All three use the same galvanized steel frame and PVDF membrane spec.

Manufacturing & Quality
SSTD-032 canopies are produced in our Tianjin, China facility, equipped with laser cutting, CNC welding and coating lines for consistent steel fabrication. The same workshop also builds our SSTD padel court line.
A short production turnaround per site keeps lead times predictable, while pre-shipment inspection confirms dimensions, coating and membrane quality before the container leaves the warehouse.
Products are made to CE-related requirements in an ISO-certified management system. Steel structure and membrane batches are inspected before shipping.
